Whether you’re watching football or using today as another excuse to continue the celebrations – I’ve got you covered for a really delicious (not to mention EASY) champagne cocktail. Enjoy!
Blackberry Thyme Champagne Cocktail
FOR THE SYRUP
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup blackberries
FOR THE DRINK
- 1 bottle champagne or sparkling wine of your choice
- 5 springs thyme
- Combine all syrup ingredients and bring to a boil. Once boiling, lower the heat to simmer for 10 minutes.
- Set aside to cool.
- Once the syrup is cool (~15-20 minutes) add 2-3 tbsp of the syrup to your class. Top with champagne or sparkling wine.
- Add 1-3 sprigs of thyme for garnish.
